Krishna (Roshan) is born with magical powers - a legacy from his father. Priya (Chopra) comes into his life and becomes his world. When she beckons him to Singapore, he follows. In Singapore, Dr. Siddhant Arya (Shah), the megalomaniac scientist is on the verge of changing the future forever. Only one man stands between Dr. Siddharth Arya and his destructive dreams. To block his ruthless ambitions -- Krishna must become Krrish.
We hate to say it, but we can't find anywhere to view this film.
Krrish is overlong, schmaltzy, wholly derivative and sprinkled with underwhelming song-and-dance numbers. Coming from anywhere else, these elements might be considered glaring flaws. In Bollywood they are not only expected, but often, as in this film, they also appear as virtues.
Paying off a somewhat laborious buildup in the first act with an escalating series of revelations and reunions in the final reel, Krrish is hearty pulp cinema that really sticks to your ribs.
Enjoyable, daffily improbable escapist romp.
