Floating Clouds(浮雲)

Yukiko is repatriating from French Indochina following World War II. She is looking for Kengo, a man she had a relationship with who promised to divorce his wife for her. Upon returning to Japan, she finds that Kengo didn’t and won’t divorce his wife, leading to a painful affair underlined by a mutual sense of aimless desperation.
