Magically gifted teenager Merlin is sent to the kingdom of Camelot, where he realizes that his destiny is to protect the young prince Arthur. However, magic is banned in Camelot by King Uther, and practitioners are executed. Yet after several adventures together, Merlin and Arthur become trusted friends as Merlin attempts to guide Arthur into becoming the great king of legend.
Pretty scattershot and definitely doesn't take full advantage of its premise and characters, but pretty fun (especially when watching with other people)
