Kuei-mei, a Woman(我這樣過了一生)

Spanning three decades, the film follows Kuei-mei as she flees on her own to Taiwan to avoid the Chinese Civil War. On the island, she encounters and overcomes all kinds of setbacks, including marrying a good-for-nothing man, dealing with a cruel boss, and raising uncontrollable children.
