Kowalski, a disgruntled veteran of the Korean War, lives next door to a Hmong family. When the family's teenage son tries to steal his prize car, Kowalski puts his own beliefs aside and goes up against the local gang that pressured the kid into a life of crime.
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?
Eastwood at his actor-director best, the film is a tribute to his legendary status as a champion of good, even though he may be plagued by many flaws.
