Kings of the Road(Im Lauf der Zeit)

A traveling projection equipment mechanic works in Western Germany along the East-German border, visiting worn-out theatres. After witnessing a car drive straight into the river, he picks up the driver, a young, depressed, and recently divorced doctor. The two decide to travel together and develop a bond through the freedom of the road.
