David with F.A.S

David Vandenbrink suffered permanent brain damage in his mother’s womb, a result of fetal alcohol syndrome (F.A.S.) that went undiagnosed for the first 18 years of his life. With confusion, anger, and pain for both David and his non-Indigenous adoptive family, this film takes a look into the serious consequences of a little-known, but widespread, health problem.
