Querelle

A handsome sailor named Querelle arrives in the port city of Brest and begins to frequent a popular brothel there, run by Madame Lysiane, whose lover is Querelle’s brother. The longer Querelle stays, the more drawn in he is by the complicated sexual, familial, and economic tensions amidst a growing network of criminal activity.
