The stories' setup: a bunch of passive weaklings being dominated by two strong and ambitious women (Hertha Feiler vs. Hilde Weissner) who fight for the same man. Again Rühmann proves his outstanding reliable sense of style and his gift for picking or better discovering compelling female leads (all ex-girlfriends or wives btw.: Hertha Feiler, Leny Marenbach..).
