After being found in pitiful circumstances on the streets of Montreal, a priest with a mysterious past is sent to an unproductive church in Manitoba. Though tasked with evicting the squatters there, the priest's unusual methods challenge religious notions of justice, punishment, and redemption. With human-focused empathy, the priest sparks new faith in the community.
