In Brussels, first-generation Moroccan immigrant and funerary business owner Omar retires, leaving his right-hand daughter, Nadia, and rebellious son, Ishmael, in charge. To revamp the business, Ishamel sets up a bold yet risky plan of importing soil from Morocco, so that his community’s deceased can be buried in a small part of their native country.
