Letter from My Village(Kaddu Beykat)

Ngor wishes to marry Columba, but a drought has affected the groundnut crop, so Ngor cannot afford the price for Columba. He goes to Dakar to earn more money but is exploited, and he returns to the village to share his experiences of the city with the other men.
