Lost Continent(Continente perduto)

This documentary depicts the “lost continent” of Asia, specifically Maritime Southeast Asia, as three Italian directors saw it in 1955. With no clear plot or story to hold itself together, the film highlights a variety of the region’s cultures and customs, including a wedding, a wheat and rice harvest, and an animal sacrifice.
