In the 1990s in Paris, Emma and Sammy move into an apartment with their first child. They meet their neighbor, photographer Cyril, and the trio enter a love triangle, where Sammy loves Cyril, who loves Emma. When Cyril learns that he is HIV positive, everyone fears for the worst, and their lives are transformed.
