After stabbing and killing a policeman, Renuka flees from a brothel in Delhi. Finding a new community of sex workers in northern India, Renuka meets a younger sex worker Devika. The two become friends, before beginning a secret romance. When those around Devika object to this romance, the couple must figure out how to escape.
