Music prodigy Abdo and other young people are not content with their elders and an autocratic leader. Shawky, the eccentric elderly leader combines theater and terror in his reign, leaving many unsure of what to do. Driven by his art, and supported by those around him, Abdo finds a way to rebel, and to survive.
