BERLIN VORTEX focuses on five young “help-your-self” Germans, who begin their journey by taking over the unoccupied ruins of buildings in the Mitte district of Berlin. Including RAMMSTEIN Keyboarder FLAKE, choreographer SASCHA WALTZ and activists from the art house TACHELES. It is a film about human destinies against the backdrop of a singular historical state of emergency. A multi-facetted and lively portrait of the melting pot of East and West in the center of the German Capital Berlin is presented.
