Teenager Rasmané and other young boys work to the point of exhaustion all day in the mines without safety equipment or protective clothing and under dangerous conditions, 100 meters underground, with nothing but pickaxes. Left to their own devices, they must rely entirely on themselves to get paid.
We hate to say it, but we can't find anywhere to view this film.
An accomplished film with a sober distribution of well-rounded scenes, and a couple of sequences filmed inside the shaft with Bolo add some tension that is welcome in lieu of more eventful developments.
