In the mid-80s, Aigokeros Publications were designing a magazine for cinema and theater. For the first issue, Theodoros Angelopoulos and Nikos Panagiotopoulos, two friends, pillars and pioneers of the New Greek Cinema, were chosen. So one summer evening, Antonis Kokkinos and Giannis Soldatos sat with the two of them, at Angelopoulos' house in Mati and recorded a three-hour conversation between the two, during which their common starting point and their subsequent different paths unfolded. But the interview was not published. Forgotten for thirty-five years, the tapes and the transcribed text are now coming to light. A rare and valuable document about the work of two iconic creators, Greek cinema, but also the art of cinema itself.
