One In A Million

The first documentary by Kinderfilmfest regular Joya Thome tells the story of two girls on different continents who are connected by social media and their passion for gymnastics: Whitney Bjerken from Georgia/USA is a world-famous YouTuber and gifted singer-songwriter. The sensitive Yara from Neumünster in northern Germany is her biggest fan. As they both navigate the exciting world of social media, they begin to figure out who they are and what they want in life.
