Letter from New York

Taja, a young Chadian woman newly arrived in New York, writes letters to her sister back home about her struggles as an immigrant in a Western metropolis. Homesick, she remembers the sights and sounds of her home country fondly. She tries to shape her new life and practices English, but is still occasionally very homesick.
