The Woman and the Stranger(Die Frau und der Fremde)

During World War I, Karl and Richard become close while in a German POW camp. When Karl escapes, he goes to Richard's home, and seeks refuge by pretending to be Richard. Richard's wife Anna refused to believe that Richard died in the camp, and never lose hope that they would be reunited. Upon Karl's arrival, her hopes are fulfilled by his cruel deception and he must do everything he can not to be found out.
