Alpha: Omega

A ravaged London is in the midst of a century-long civil war in which the battle-line isn't race or religion: it's gender. And the resource at stake isn't land or wealth: it's reproduction. The film follows the journey of the youngest member of an underground female resistance group, and her relationship with her biological mother. A 20-minute sci-fi short, produced in 2013 by Pinewood Studios and Gobby and Specs Productions. Developed by Director/Producer Chanya Button, Co-Producer Tim Phillips and Writer Sian Robins-Grace as part of a body of work piecing together a world for a feature film realisation, the project has wa supported by Steve Norris and Ivan Dunleavy at Pinewood Studios, Technicolour, Panavision and Neil Corbould Special Effects.
