What a writer does?

The protagonist, a lonely writer that spends his entire day writing from every day occurrences encounters an event which get's him attacked by two men. After that experiences it starts to fuel his writing so much that he starts getting into danger to continue writing. What becomes a hobby now becomes a dangerous addiction.
