Becoming Nakuset

Nakuset is a survivor of the Sixties Scoop, a period in Canada when authorities could "scoop" indigenous children from their families and place them in foster homes with white parents. The film chronicles Nakuset's journey to recover her identity with the help of her Jewish grandmother and how she became a powerful voice for her people.
