DESIRE?

In India—a country where the expression of sexuality is so regimentalised that it is often seen as profane or immoral—it might be assumed that asexual people lead an easier life. But, paradoxically, a lack of interest in sex can be equally taboo. Desire? lays bare the reality of the one per cent of India’ population who identify as asexual, sharing the experiences of Shambhavi, Meghna, Nevish, Mallika, Omkar and Sadanand in a dialogue about relationships that don’t stand on the edifice of sex and sexuality.
