Samantha, a deaf girl who has an almost supernatural ability to swim faster than most semi-pro athletes, tries to fit in with the swimming community. Sam's dad, a low esteemed single parent, struggles to find his footing in the world while making ends meet. And somehow in the middle of all wanting, he seem to have forgotten he already has the greatest gift, Samantha.
