Zombies in the Sugar Cane Field: The Documentary(Zombies en el cañaveral: el documental)

In 1965, three years before Romero's Night of the living dead, in Tucumán, Argentina, director Ofelio Linares Montt shot Zombies en el cañaveral, a feature film of strong political implications. The film was a success in the US, but could not be released in Argentina due to the military dictatorship ruling at the time, and it was lost. This documentary attempts to trace this cursed classic through interviews and its few surviving images.
