In a bucolic place on the island of Flores, the most remote of the Azores archipelago, a lonely man lives in complete isolation, without any kind of human interaction. To keep you company, just a black cat and a spotted cow. His daily routine is lived between his house and a lighthouse that apparently is, or has been, in his charge. Produced by Francisca Magalhães, Joana Tato Borges and Maria Canela, "Há Alguém na Terra" is a film about the passage of time, about someone who seems to be saying goodbye to life and its routines. Told without recourse to any kind of dialogue, the film lives on a particular visual and sound ambience, which invites the viewer to contemplate.
We hate to say it, but we can't find anywhere to view this film.
