HIM/HER is a charming exercise in romance. Crisply shot black-and-white photography, shown in split screen, provides the very similar routines of a young man and a young woman, who cross paths without even knowing it. The real fireworks begin when they finally notice one another. A succinct depiction of falling in love at second sight.
