c̓əsnaʔəm: the city before the city

People often think of Vancouver as a new city, when in fact this region has been occupied for 9,000 years. This film aims to correct that impression through the story of the Musqueam First Nation's 200-day vigil to halt a condo development that unearthed ancestral remains -- a meaningful reminder of the history of this land and her first people.
