Foster Child

Director Gil Cardinal searches for his biological family and an understanding of the circumstances that led to him becoming a foster child. Initially met with frustration during his search, his efforts eventually come to fruition as he slowly discovers his Métis roots, while addressing the country’s internal colonialism in a profoundly personal manner.
