Amid the student movements of the late 1960s, members of the New Left in West Germany wage a campaign against the most influential and powerful right-wing tabloid paper, Bild, and its publishing house Springer. After Bild instigates public opinion against the students, the group focuses on exposing the publisher's control and manipulation of the news.
