In the village Karrild on earth mother gives birth Countess Sonia Hard Borg (Birgitte Federspiel), and a young unmarried woman Marta one daughter each. Marta dies after birth, so the little girl Betina come under care. The case will be that the two girls' path crossed 17 years later. Betina living as a home for orphaned girls, which is adjacent to the cargo Hard Borg.
