Fatima, the Algerian Woman of Dakar(Fatima, l'Algérienne de Dakar)

In the summer of 1957, during the Algerian war, a young Algerian woman named Fatima is discovered in the bush by a Senegalese sub-lieutenant, Souleymane Fall, who rapes her, impregnating her. A few years later Souleyman's father, a practicing Muslim, demands that his son find and marry Fatima, "his sister in Islam".
