Scheherazade's Diary(يوميّات شهرزاد)

This engaging tragicomic documentary follows women inmates at Baabda Prison through a 10-month drama therapy/theater project set up in 2012 by the film’s director Zeina Daccache. In footage of rehearsals and the live performance, as well as daily life, the women share their stories, holding up a mirror to Lebanese society.
