The Necessities of Life(Ce qu'il faut pour vivre)

During a tuberculosis epidemic in 1950s Canada, Tiivii, an Inuit man, arrives at a sanatorium in Quebec City. Far away from his family and struggling with a language barrier, Tiivii struggles to adapt to his new environment. An orphaned boy and a dedicated nurse help Tiivii through his alienation and illness.
