Kiarostami stages two versions of a classroom discipline situation – in one, a student tells on a troublemaker; in the other, seven students refuse to tattle and instead must stand outside the classroom until the weekend. Then, several adult talking heads discuss the outcomes in terms of morality, rights, and responsibilities.
