On the eve of the Israeli attack on Egypt in 1956, Israel declares martial law in all the occupied Palestinian territories without any previous notice. The film recounts the stories of the lively village of Kafr Kassem prior to that fateful evening when the Israeli army massacred Palestinians returned from work.
