Bako, the Other Shore(Bako, l'autre rive)

Boubacar, a young man in Senegal, is sent by his father to Paris to join his older brother Samba, in the hopes that he becomes rich and sends money home to the family. Boubacar is forced to leave not only the village, but his beloved fiancée Awa, before setting off on a long, uncertain journey.
