When French painter Jean-Baptiste Emmerich dies, a collection of his friends, family, and lovers take a four-hour train ride to his funeral. Together, the group mourns and reminisces on the life of the enigmatic man they loved. But everyone on board has their own issues, and things get complicated when some long-held secrets come to light.
