Johanne is content with her bachelorette status right up until the Christmas season starts. To avoid being shamed, she tells her family she's found someone. A little lie gets bigger when they demand proof of her newly-partnered status in the form of the mystery man's attendance at Christmas dinner, so Johanne gets to work.
