The New York Times by Mike Hale
The satire is on the surface, and the effect is broadly comic. It’s a solid piece of work, though, with handsome cinematography and design, an engaging soundtrack (by the composer Fernando Velázquez and the music director Dan Zlotnik) and able performances from Paulina Gaitán and Arcelia Ramírez as the central sisters.
