Meet best friends Michael, Albert, Stanley, and Sefa. They're almost thirsty, but still act as if they're sixteen. But now, Michael's brother Sione is getting married, and to ensure his big day isn't spoiled by their chaotic antics, Sione has issued an ultimatum: the guys all have to bring dates to the wedding. The all-Polynesian cast, many of whom developed this material as part of a theater troupe called "The Naked Samoans," bring so much energy and glee to the telling that one can only smile and hope they all profit wildly from the American remake that's reportedly in the works.
The big, burly Samoan Wedding is a shrewdly written, impeccably timed and audaciously played romantic comedy.
