Adil, a 35-year-old man with an intellectual disability, lives with his elderly mother. Adil’s mother says that he will go to heaven, but Adil doesn’t want to go without her. Adil is told that a pilgrimage to Mecca will allow his mother to go to heaven, and the pair begin the journey on foot.
