Kizito, a preacher, is mandated to take a one-month trip to Mboko, a dreaded and godless ghetto. He is rescued and aided by a prostitute, Bisona, who houses him during his assignment. This unlawful combination eventually sparks love and Kizito later discovers Mboko means much more to him than just an assignment destination.
