One night, screenwriter Adam has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where he finds that his long-dead parents are both living and look exactly as they did on the day they died over 30 years ago.
A devastating watch. I don't think I have ever cried harder in a theater. The intentionally small cast gives the film a somewhat stage-play quality, which really works. Each performance is absolutely knockout, especially Andrew Scott's. I'm wary of the ending, as I feel it somewhat complicates the message, but it's worth your while.
