Maeng boasts that he will be an in-law of a powerful family when his daughter marries a high official's son, Mi-eon. But one day he is told that his future son-in-law is crippled. Thinking that he cannot let his daughter become a wife of a crippled man even though he is from a powerful family, Maeng decides to use a little trick. On the wedding day, he replaces the bride with a maid as if she were his daughter. But when the bridegroom shows up, everyone knows that he is not a crippled man. He is an imposing and dignified young man. Maeng is stunned. But there is nothing he can do anymore. The maid marries Mi-eon.
