Days after her friends disappear during a trip to a mysterious cave, a girl is approached by a grown man claiming to be one of her missing pals.
Incredibly moving and sad. A heartbreaking depiction of the loss of innocence and the dangers of an ignorant society. Despite the film’s melancholy nature, however, there are genuine scenes of sweetness and hope which provide a comforting balm amidst so much angst. Overall, a deep, powerful story about sacrifice, friendship, and the power of love to transcend time.
