Mityo is a widowed Bulgarian living by the Rhodope mountains near the Turkish border. He is desperate to prevent the foreclosure of his home, but cannot make enough money through his job driving a milk tanker, and so he resorts to smuggling migrants and refugees of the Syrian Civil War into Bulgaria.
